MSTA Spring Program & Family Picnic - Friday, May 24th

10:30a.m. Spring Program; 11:30-12:45p.m. — Family Picnic
Please join us for a great show and some fun family time. Bring your lawn chairs and picnic supplies. Set up immediately following the program. Kettle corn and lemonade will be available for purchase. If you choose to take your child home, please make sure to sign them out at the classroom. All students will be asked to return to class at 12:45p.m.

Enrollment for 2019-2020 Begins February 4th

2019-2020 enrollment for all schools and all grades TK-8th will open on Monday, February 4th!

The Whittier City School District is extremely proud of the programs and themed academies offered and know that our schools will offer your child an excellent education.

Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Information Night

Calling all families of children ages 3-5 years old! The Whittier City School District will host a parent information night on Thursday, January 31 to provide information regarding Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten programs for the 2019-2020 school year. The meeting will be held at 6:00pm in the Whittier City School District Board Room.
School staff from our nine elementary schools will be in attendance to answer any questions and provide an introduction to each school.
Families who reside inside and outside of the Whittier City School District attendance boundaries are welcome to attend.

Join us for ELAC 10/29

The English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) at MSTA is comprised of parents/guardians of English Learners. They work together with the principal and staff on programs and services for English Learners. They advise the School Site Council for the Single Plan for Student Achievement. In addition, they review the school’s needs assessment, annual language census and help make parents aware of the importance of regular school attendance.
