Back to School Night is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28th 6-7:30 pm. Tuesday August 27th is a regular school day and Wednesday August 28th is a minimum day.

The Whittier City School District will offer the Transitional Kindergarten program at Andrews School in the 2019-2020 school year. Enroll today! If your child is already enrolled in TK and you would like him or her to attend Andrews in the coming year, contact your home school or call Instructional Services at 562-789-3034.

10:30a.m. Spring Program; 11:30-12:45p.m. — Family Picnic
Please join us for a great show and some fun family time. Bring your lawn chairs and picnic supplies. Set up immediately following the program. Kettle corn and lemonade will be available for purchase. If you choose to take your child home, please make sure to sign them out at the classroom. All students will be asked to return to class at 12:45p.m.

2019-2020 enrollment for all schools and all grades TK-8th will open on Monday, February 4th!

Calling all families of children ages 3-5 years old! The Whittier City School District will host a parent information night on Thursday, January 31 to provide information regarding Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten programs for the 2019-2020 school year. The meeting will be held at 6:00pm in the Whittier City School District Board Room.
School staff from our nine elementary schools will be in attendance to answer any questions and provide an introduction to each school.
Families who reside inside and outside of the Whittier City School District attendance boundaries are welcome to attend.
